I have begun an exercise schedule because of health issues, and I work out for approximately an hour every day. During that hour, most of it is quiet enough, crunches and resistance training. However, for maybe 20-30 minutes on certain days I do have some moves that are somewhat noisy like jumping jacks and running in place. I do these exercises around 5-7pm, well within normal hours, and put down a mat to keep the vibration down as best I can. Today, during my work-out, my neighbor downstairs shouted up the stairs to quit stomping on the floor. Of course, I stopped my jumping jacks, and switched to a resistance routine instead. But my question is, could my landlord evict me for my exercising at normal hours, or could the cops give me a citation or anything? I live in Pennsylvania, if that helps. I would go to a gym, but my boyfriend and I only have one car and he works evenings, and I work days. Thanks!
As an edit, I have three bulging discs in my back, I need a low-impact pad under my feet if I do any exercise. Outside isn't an option.
Also, I went down to talk to her, and she shouted at me that she hears me "all day" stomping around. I work days, I come home and exercise, shower, then sit and relax before bed. She's not willing to cooperate.

I just moved to the country and have a highly active 10-month old cattle dog/german shepherd mix. She's a great dog in every way except of course naturally she thinks cows and horses are for chasing. I would like for her to be able to run around the property and get some exercise with the other dogs but I need to be able to trust her around the livestock first and I've tried using a long line to train her but she knows when she is and isn't attatched to a leash (good on leash, does what she wants off-leash). When she goes into prey drive of course she does not listen to commands and treats and toys are nowhere near as interesting as a moving horse or cow. SO, I recently heard of collars that are not shock collars, but similar. Instead of a shock they use sound or vibration...anyone try these? I need something powerful enough to snap her out of prey drive but would like to avoid a shock collar if possible.

ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
My dog is fine with cats, people and other dogs, and fine with livestock unless they start running around. I know she is not going to kill a horse or cow, but if they're spooked bad enough, they can be injured and what i'm most owrried about is her getting trampled or kicked. I know people who have lost dogs this way. She's already been kicked in the head once, and i'm not willing to bet she learned a lesson from it. I will continue working with the long lead and look into these other options that have worked for people. Thanks everyone!

The Vibration Plate is said to be responsible for the incredible shapes of not only Madonna, but also stars such as Jessica Alba, Claudia Schiffer and Natalie Imbruglia.

The vibration pltform has been designed to produce therapeutic vibrations from the feet up through your entire body. The vibration plate causes very rapid muscle contractions thirty to fifty times per second that work your muscles continuously.

These contractions not only build muscle and bone density, but improve flexibility, burn fat, increase metabolism, improve circulation, improve cellular oxygen and nutrient delivery which slows the degenerative/ageing process!

FACTS:

1. Vibration exercise burns fat and cellulite
2. Vibration Fitness tones and tightens skin
3. Increase your Strength dramatically in weeks.
4. Increase your serotonin levels which improves your mood and energy levels.
5. Decrease joint pain and blood pressure.
6. Increase your flexibility and balance with Vibration Plate workouts.

WebMD's Professor Barbara Resnick PhD, is one of hundreds who have recently endorsed Vibration Exercise as an effective treatment for osteoporosis after a research study.

The test group participated in 3 Wholebody Vibration sessions per week, consisting of 6 one-minute bouts of low-frequency vibration, with 1-minute rest between bouts.

After 8 months, Bone Mass Density in the WBV group increased by 4.3% (P = .011) further, the group also increased their balance by 29%.
